A special note from the photographer...

When my family and I had to unexpectedly plan for a funeral service, I realized time doesn't stop for any of us. We still needed finances to cover everything. Although I am a photographer, I was too close to the situation to do the photography for my own family members' service.

 

  That's when this idea was born. Now providing free bereavement photography for families allows them to be able to just say 'yes'.  I know that not everyone has the same financial situation but it isn't about the money, it is about gifting these photos to anyone that would like to have them. Each time someone donates to this precious cause, it plays a huge part in covering this service for the next family that would like to have it. It really is amazing how when we come together as a community, beautiful things can happen. Each time I cover a funeral service, I get to see a little bit of weight lifted off shoulders of the mourning. I get to witness the many positive reasons that having these photos help others through the grieving process.

 

  I have found a deep passion for funeral photography and anything else related to it. Stillbirths, spreading of ashes, candlelight vigils, burials, butterfly release, etc.

This leg of my business is donation based only. It is an opportunity to give families the images of the unique tributes that families hold for their loved ones'. It is a way for me to use my tools as an honorable gift to others.

 

I am proud that "For Me on Behalf of You" donations now have a purpose. I am grateful that my pain; turned compassion, allows me to pay it forward too.
